About the project

Process

The project spanned several years, but our collaboration began in 2019. The tool already had a web version, but the goal was to transition it into a mobile application and conduct the necessary testing.

Users

We had two distinct user roles: the end customer, responsible for creating requests, and the professional, referred to as a "fixer," who would respond to those requests and address the issues. This differentiation later prompted us to develop two interconnected applications.
Ronald owns a software development company, works from home, has two children, and although he has the knowledge to address various issues at home, he lacks the time to dedicate to them.

Juan has been an electrician since a young age, working with his father for a long time until he decided to venture out on his own. He has a daughter, a dog, and lives a humble and peaceful life with his wife. Lately, he has been struggling to find the clients he needs to sustain himself through traditional means, prompting him to explore alternative options.

Branding

We aimed for something simple, non-confusing, and distinctive. To achieve this, the decision was made to separate both apps with two different color tones – violet for clients and red for professionals.

App

The objective was straightforward: the end customer should be able to create a request for their issue and effectively track its progress. Additionally, they should have the ability to determine the priority of their request, whether it needed urgent resolution or could be scheduled for a later time.

Fixer

Now, the fixer's case was entirely opposite to the previous one. They needed an easy way to discover new requests from potential clients to whom they could send their quotes. Lastly, they required a professional profile that would convince clients and showcase their experience.

Landing page

The website was designed and implemented in Webflow to optimize time and provide a quick overview of the app's functionality. The simple style was maintained, incorporating various call-to-action elements to engage the user. Similar to the app, the website underwent several iterations over the years.

Chat Bot

As I neared the end of my involvement in the project, we experimented with launching a WhatsApp bot to simplify the process of submitting a request for a client. This aimed to eliminate entry barriers with a clear hypothesis that users preferred not to download additional applications.

Result

The project successfully secured investment and garnered a user base that actively used the application, providing positive feedback over the weeks. However, it did not continue due to external reasons unrelated to the project.
